Welcome to Christianity 201
C201 features both original articles by our core writers and re-posted material from other sources that is both Bible-centered and Christ-centered. Please support and encourage the other writers by clicking through and visiting their blogs and if you like what you see, becoming a subscriber.
Christian bloggers: Consider writing for C201; we are always looking for new contributors, both regular and one-time. See the submissions page link below.
Why “201” –A lot of energy is expended in the Christian blogosphere debating and discussing things that are either divisive or fleeting. I wanted this particular voice in the blogosphere to be about things that were more lasting, and the possibility of God’s blessing on those who read this to be a realistic expectation.
I really like this concept. Great idea. God and God alone is worth talking about and promoting!!!

Well, c201 – I’m grateful that you like my blog – Jesus, Name above all Names – but I wish I could see a little more about who and where you are. Anyway – Thanks.
About blogging – I have a small but apparently devoted following, which is encouraging, however, one important reason for my blog, it is my way of studying. I find it easier to write things out in reasoning than just meditating, somehow, I don’t know how – it just flows far better. I’ve even written some novels also to develop my thinking and put it into practicalities, some are available on the blog site,
So, I keep tabs with you and see how we go!! every blessing! GPS

Thank you for what you are doing. But since we live in a time when those who consider themselves a part of the true Body of Christ are on a long list, I have concern over allowing many views to be proclaimed. This has the very real, unintentioned side effect of leaving seekers and growing believers confused in the faith and/or being led astray without the pure and solid mooring to our Rock, Jesus Christ. I hope that you read every submission with a holy and loving scrutiny before posting them. Thank you.

Seriously?
In 4,700+ blog posts and 12 years, you’re the very first person to suggest this.
I don’t think the reason stated — potentially allowing people to be “confused in the faith” — is the real reason behind your comment at all.
I think that presented with a site that contains people from a broader swath of Christianity than you are comfortable with, you’re unable to put a label on it, and you like things to fit neatly into categories.
That said, the articles are carefully vetted. More time is spent selecting articles than the time it takes to actually format them. Authors who have been presented many times before have sometimes wandered off into fringe territory and are cut from the rotation. We aim to be centrist in an Evangelical sense, but once or twice a year will include an appropriate author from a Catholic brother or sister if it is presented to us. We included a Quaker writer once, and a Jewish rabbi once. Charismatic/Pentecostal writers appear frequently, and we have a healthy mix of male and female writers.
Perhaps this just isn’t the site for you.

Maybe you misunderstood or perceived it differently; that’s easy to do with printed, texted or emailed words. I didn’t say that’s what you were doing, but that it was possible and unintentional. You didn’t have to take offense, but be humble. I will leave it at that.
